Volunteers from Custom Benefit Consultants, Inc distribute food at local pop-up event
This past November, volunteers from CBC joined with members of the Board of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ School of Public Health Alumni to help distribute food to families in need at The Just One Project’s Pop Up & Give event at Ruby Thomas Elementary School.
Ken Bahl, Principal of CBC: “Supporting community and family are part of our core values as an organization. We have felt from the beginning that CBC must be more than a service driven company, rather, we need to actively support the communities that we live and work in.”
The Just One Project, a local grassroots non-profit organization, is Nevada’s largest food market: combating food insecurity through an innovative mobile food pantry, stationary pantry, and grocery delivery program. They often partner with Three Square, a Las Vegas-based food bank, to organize and distribute food to local families.
Ken Bahl, CBC: “Just One Project and Three Square are both pillars of the Las Vegas community. To support them along with an organization that I am personally passionate about, the UNLV School of Public Health Alumni, was a great way to get involved.”
Now more than ever is a time to give thanks and give back to the communities we live in. Amazing non-profits like Three Square and The Just One Project need volunteers to help mobilize their efforts to create healthier and happier communities.
The staff of CBC are grateful for the opportunity to help the communities they live in and give back in any way they can. Building healthier environments is at the core of everything they do. Join them and support the non-profits helping to create healthier communities everywhere.
